Outline of Shibaura Group
The Shibaura Group is a group of companies engaged in the steel distribution and processing industry, with Shibaura Holdings Corporation as the head company and Shibaura Shearing Corporation as the core operating company. On March 31, 1932, Shibaura Shearing Factory, a limited partnership, was established with paid-in capital of 2,700 yen. The factory was located in Shiba-ku, Tokyo (present-day Shibaura 1-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo), and had a site of only 50 tsubo. The company celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2022, and the current outline of the Shibaura Group is as follows.
